Ione Designs, as it once began, was inspired by a St. Louis Native who had a passion for fashion and an eye for design. Gemstones were the medium along with high quality handmade accessories to compliment outfits of all kinds!

Fast forward and the daughter of that St. Louis native took the materials into her hands renaming Ione Designs into Ione Made Designs. Materials of her mother's past were explored, designed, and shifted into the many pieces of jewelry displayed on our site.

Taiye is the one who took her mother's jewelry brand idea and made it her own. Originally from St. Louis, Taiye has a love of gemstones of all kinds. There is a passion in viewing the many wondrous colors and creations the Earth has naturally made. Designing jewelry results in an accomplishment of being able to bring an idea and thought into tangible reality. Being able to see a master piece being made right in front of her, gives her a passion for gemstone jewelry design and creation. Her medium consists of gemstones and wire as she makes chains, earrings, rings, necklaces, anklets, body chains, and any thing you can think of.

I style my jewelry off of my own style. Lots of my jewelry, I would wear myself. Being able to make jewelry gives me the ability to make what I want instead of searching in stores of something I probably will not find. Many women and men have this issue. Custom requests and designs are my favorite as I am able to help you all find the exact piece that you are needing to match an outfit or to gift a very special person in your life!
